The Syrinx Concerts Orchestra is the organization’s fundamental element. Varying in size (from 20 and 70 musicians, according to programme requirements), the orchestra operates on both a permanent and a freelance basis, a dual status that offers the best of all possible worlds: the privilege to recruit from the finest professional ensembles in the area, while choosing the most talented performers from within their ranks.

The result is a highly motivated ensemble. Under the direction of Errol Girdlestone the orchestra displays remarkable cohesion in a wide scope of musical styles, ranging from the Baroque period to the present.
